Industrial Bank Co. Ltd. and Huatai Securities Co. Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement to work together in areas such as depository and settlement, asset management and investment banking.

The Chinese financial institutions will also cooperate in fixed income, currency and commodities, asset custody and cross-border businesses, among other things, according to a May 23 release.
