Sunfar Computer Q3 profit falls YOY

Sunfar Computer Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the third quarter amounted to 23 Taiwan cents per share, a decline of 7.5% from 25 cents per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$18.4 million, a decline of 7.2% from NT$19.8 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin fell to 1.4% from 1.4% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue fell 6.7% year over year to NT$1.32 billion from NT$1.42 billion, and total operating expenses decreased 6.7% on an annual basis to NT$1.30 billion from NT$1.39 billion.

Reported net income rose 12.4% on an annual basis to NT$29.9 million, or 37 cents per share, from NT$26.6 million, or 33 cents per share.
