Drummond's negotiations with Colombian coal miner unions to start in April

Followingits recent announcementrelated to collective employment agreements with five unions under its workforce,Drummond Co. Inc. announcedthat negotiations with Sintradrummond, Agretritrenes and Sintramineros will formallybegin April 13.

The 20-daydirect negotiation stage is expected to last until May 2, according to the company.

Sintramienergeticahas yet to respond to Drummond's extended invitation to present its bill of petitionsand begin negotiations in the week of April 11.

However,negotiations with Sintradem were not viable amid a collective conflict with thecompany and will continue with the arbitration tribunal convened by the Ministryof Labor.
