German harmonized monthly inflation confirmed at zero in September

German monthly harmonized inflation was confirmed at zero in September and the annual figure at 1.8%, final data from the Federal Statistical Office showed.

This compared with a 0.2% monthly and 1.8% annual inflation noted in August.

In nonharmonized terms, September's consumer prices rose by 0.1% from the month before and 1.8% year over year.
