Lix Detergent JSC said its normalized net income for the fourth quarter amounted to 806.84 dong per share, a gain of 19.3% from 676.48 dong per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 33.85 billion dong, an increase of 54.5% from 21.91 billion dong in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin rose to 6.9% from 4.9% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue climbed 10.1% on an annual basis to 491.06 billion dong from 445.83 billion dong, and total operating expenses climbed 6.4% year over year to 438.18 billion dong from 411.67 billion dong.
Reported net income grew year over year to 64.08 billion dong, or 1,527.41 dong per share, from 18.74 billion dong, or 578.58 dong per share.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled 3,472.83 dong per share, an increase of 72.8% from 2,009.18 dong per share in the prior year.
Normalized net income was 112.52 billion dong, a gain of 72.8% from 65.10 billion dong in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue increased on an annual basis to 1.757 trillion dong from 1.706 trillion dong, and total operating expenses declined year over year to 1.584 trillion dong from 1.605 trillion dong.
The company said reported net income rose year over year to 162.47 billion dong, or 5,014.61 dong per share, in the full year, from 72.73 billion dong, or 2,244.67 dong per share.
As of March 1, US$1 was equivalent to 22,302 dong.
