Russian fertilizer producer PJSC Uralkali said Oct. 5 that its potassium chloride production reached 2.8 million tonnes in the third quarter, down from 3 million tonnes produced a year ago.
Meanwhile, the company's output reached 7.9 million tonnes in the first nine months of the year, compared to 8.7 million tonnes recorded a year earlier.
In September, Uralkali completed its previously announced open market buyback of its common shares, acquiring 92,172,796 shares and 1,215,191 global depository receipts, representing about 3.35% of its issue share capital.
