HG buys software company Personal & Informatik for €2B

HG Capital acquired German HR software provider Personal & Informatik AG for an enterprise value of €2 billion.

HG acquired Personal & Informatik's holding from funds advised by Permira Holdings Ltd., with the latter maintaining a substantial minority stake.

Following the transaction, HG-managed funds will become the majority shareholder in Personal & Informatik.

The transaction was made through the Hg Saturn 1 Fund, which focuses on software businesses with enterprise values of more than £1 billion.
