Janus Henderson Investors said global equities head Graham Kitchen will depart from the industry by the end of March 2018 to pursue charitable interests.
Until then, Kitchen will remain in the firm for a transition period. He will be replaced by George Maris and Alex Crooke as co-head of equities. Maris will cover the U.S., while Crooke will cover Europe, the Middle East and Africa and Asia-Pacific. They will both report to Enrique Chang, global chief investment officer.
Maris and Crooke will also join the firm's executive committee on a rotating basis every six months and will retain their portfolio management responsibilities.
Additionally, Julian McManus and Garth Yettick will join Maris as co-portfolio managers covering overseas and global select strategies, starting Jan. 1, 2018, while Ben Lofthouse will take over Crooke's daily management work while retaining his co-portfolio manager role for existing strategies.
Janus Henderson Group Plc is the holding company of Janus Henderson Investors.
