Former U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May's Europe adviser, Oliver Robbins, will join Goldman Sachs Group Inc. as a managing director.
As Europe adviser and permanent secretary at the Department for Exiting the European Union, Robbins was responsible for negotiating the terms of the U.K.'s exit from the European Union under May.
Robbins officially left the Cabinet on July 31 and will join Goldman as a managing director in its U.K. investment banking division in December, following a three-month sabbatical as a fellow at Oxford University, which began Sept. 1, according to a letter from the U.K. government.
