Reserve Bankof New Zealand appointed Neil Quigley as chair of its board ofdirectors, effective Sept. 23.
Quigley also serves as a director of the New Zealand QualificationsAuthority and as vice chancellor of the University of Waikato, according to aSept. 27 release. He replaced Rod Carr as chair.
Carr will step down as a director on the central bank'sboard when his current term expires in July 2017.
Kerrin Vautier, a consulting research economist and a laymember of the High Court, was appointed as deputy chair, effective Sept. 26.
