Apple Inc. is expanding the size of its iconic glass cube store on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, N.Y., Bloomberg News reported Feb. 1, citing a statement by Douglas Linde, president of Boston Properties Inc.
The store, which reportedly has about 32,000 square feet of space, will expand to 77,000 square feet of space. Boston Properties is reportedly working to fill empty retail space at the property.
An Apple spokesman said the expansion will allow customers to "enjoy new services and experiences in a much larger space."
