GEICO Corp. President and CEO Bill Roberts will retire from the company in December 2020.

Todd Combs, a Berkshire Hathaway Inc. investment manager, will succeed Roberts as CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2020. He will continue to manage $14 billion of investments for Berkshire Hathaway.

Roberts will become GEICO vice chairman Jan. 1, 2020.
