SDM Group Q3 loss narrows YOY

SDM Group Holdings Ltd. said its third-quarter normalized net income came to a loss of HK$707,630, compared with a loss of HK$737,630 in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin increased to negative 3.4% from negative 4.1% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue rose 15.3% on an annual basis to HK$20.8 million from HK$18.1 million, and total operating expenses climbed 14.1% from the prior-year period to HK$22.0 million from HK$19.3 million.

Reported net income came to a loss of HK$1.2 million, or a loss of 1 cents per share, compared to a loss of HK$998,000, or a loss of 0 cents per share, in the prior-year period.
