Commercial Bank Novopokrovsky LLC's management board first deputy chairman, Andrey Tarasov, was appointed acting chairman of the management board, the Russian lender said June 6.

Tarasov will continue to pursue the lender's strategy aimed at implementing a balanced policy in the field of risk management, developing quality comprehensive banking services, introducing advanced banking technologies and expanding the lender's regional network.

Prior to Tarasov's appointment, Sergey Zabelin had been management board chairman.
