Qatar National Bank not eyeing sale of Commercial Bank International stake

Qatar National Bank (QPSC) said it does not intend to sell its stake in United Arab Emirates-based Commercial Bank International PSC, Reuters reported Oct. 11.

Qatar National Bank's 40% holding in Commercial Bank International is valued at $155 million, the newswire noted.

The Qatari bank reported net profit attributable to equity holders for the nine months to Sept. 30 of 10.3 billion Qatari rials, up 6% from 9.7 billion rials in the same period in 2016.
