TorianResources Ltd. said April 4 that it has acquired the Bardoc projectin the goldfields region of Western Australia with major shareholder and jointventure partner, CascadeResources Ltd.
This was the company's eighth acquisition in 12 months.
Bardoc covers 38.6 square kilometers. Torian owns about 8.4square kilometers while Cascade holds the remaining 30.2 square kilometers.
Best results from previous exploration in the Bardoc areawere 9 meters at 1.73 g/t of gold and 4 meters at 2.00 g/t of gold.
"This latest acquisition is a great addition toTorian's portfolio of exciting projects," said Managing Director MatthewSullivan. "[W]e intend to continue to acquire opportunistic acquisitionsas [they] arise."
