Daimaru Enawin Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Sept. 30 amounted to ¥9.16 per share, a decline of 26.5% from ¥12.45 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥71.3 million, a decline of 26.9% from ¥97.5 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin declined to 2.0% from 2.5% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue declined 10.0% year over year to ¥3.52 billion from ¥3.91 billion, and total operating expenses decreased 9.3% year over year to ¥3.41 billion from ¥3.77 billion.
Reported net income declined from the prior-year period to ¥82.0 million, or ¥10.54 per share, from ¥85.0 million, or ¥10.86 per share.
