Yura Tech Q2 profit falls YOY

Yura Tech Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the second quarter came to 172.89 South Korean won per share, a decrease of 42.9% from 302.98 won per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 1.98 billion won, a decline of 43.0% from 3.47 billion won in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin fell to 4.4% from 8.1% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed on an annual basis to 44.83 billion won from 43.02 billion won, and total operating expenses increased 9.3% year over year to 42.77 billion won from 39.13 billion won.

Reported net income fell 35.3% from the prior-year period to 2.68 billion won, or 233.94 won per share, from 4.14 billion won, or 361.00 won per share.

As of Aug. 17, US$1 was equivalent to 1,183.06 South Korean won.
