Northwest Natural Gas names new director, replacement for departing exec

The board of Northwest Natural Gas Co. named Charles Wilhoite to the company's board as a class II independent director, for a term starting Aug. 1 and expiring at the annual shareholders meeting scheduled for May 23, 2019.

Wilhoite has been a managing director of Willamette Management Associates since 1995, according to a July 27 SEC filing.

In addition, senior vice president and chief administrative officer Lea Anne Doolittle announced she will retire Dec. 31. Melinda Rogers, who was named vice president, chief human resources and diversity officer effective Aug. 1, is expected to assume Doolittle's human resources responsibilities.
