Hargreaves Lansdown ups final dividend

Hargreaves Lansdown Plc's board declared a second interim and final ordinary dividend of 20.4 pence per share for the year ended June 30, up from 16.3 pence per share in the previous year.

The company's total dividend for the fiscal year fell 15% to 29.0 pence per share from 34.0 pence per share a year earlier, owing to its decision not to pay a special dividend for the period.

The final dividend will be paid Oct. 20 to shareholders on the register at business close Sept. 29, subject to shareholder approval at the company's 2017 annual general meeting.

Hargreaves Lansdown reported consolidated profit attributable to owners of the parent of £211.7 million for the year ended June 30, compared to £176.9 million a year ago.
