Honda starts business jet deliveries in China

Honda Motor Co. Ltd. on Dec. 10 said it began delivering its HondaJet Elite aircraft to China in partnership with its exclusive dealer, Honsan General Aviation.

U.S.-based Honda Aircraft Co. LLC received certification to sell the business jet in August.

Honsan General Aviation will handle sales and service of the jet at the business jet terminal in the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. The first delivery was financed by leasing company Mitsubishi UFJ Lease & Finance.

The Honda subsidiary currently has a 140-aircraft fleet across North America, Europe, Latin America, Southeast Asia, China, the Middle East, India, and Japan.
