Pacific LifeInsurance Co.-owned Pacific Asset Advisors LLC agreed to acquireBoston-based boutique investment firm Cadence Capital Management LLC

The transaction is expected to be completed on or about June30. No additional terms of the transaction will be released, Pacific AssetAdvisors said in an April 25 news release.

Cadence Capital Management offers global strategic betaportfolios, growth equity solutions, and long/short strategies. The firm's teamof investment professionals is led by CEO Michael Skillman. After thetransaction, it will continue to operate as an independent investment adviser.
