Orange axing 435 workers in Spain

Orange unit Orange España finalized its voluntary redundancy plan,lowering the number of affected employees to 435, from a previous 496, AdvancedTelevision reported April 13.

The company's executive committee will also be restructuredto an 11-member team, after marketing director Luis del Pozo, sales directorPablo Lopez and network director Vicente Casciaro reportedly agreed tovoluntary redundancy.

The move follows Orange's takeover of Spanishoperator Jazztel.

In February, Orange originally to let go of 550 workers.
