Peloton Minerals Corp. said Oct. 4 that it started drilling at its early-stage Golden Trail gold project in Nevada, aiming to demonstrate near-surface continuity of mineralization.
The campaign will comprise up to 33 drill holes, with lengths ranging between 50 feet and 300 feet. The company noted that subsequent drilling would focus on expanding on this initial program along strike, at depth and in other areas of the property.
Peloton Minerals will also conduct geologic mapping and soil geochemistry at the Independence Valley project, located within the Spruce Mountain mining district, which hosts many historic base and precious metals mines.
