Houston-based oil and gas company Apache Corp. appointed Juliet Ellis to its board, according to a May 28 news release.

Ellis was previously a managing director and senior portfolio manager for investment management firm Invesco Ltd. as well as chief investment officer for its U.S. growth equities investment management unit.

Apache has operations in onshore assets in the Permian Basin and Midcontinent/Gulf Coast onshore regions and offshore assets in the Gulf of Mexico.
