Planning board ratifies local council's ruling on Irish Residential project

Irish Residential Properties REIT Plc CEO David Ehrlich said the company is "very disappointed" with the Ireland planning board's decision on its appeal for its 456-unit apartment project.

The An Bord Pleanála upheld the decision of the Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, refusing to give planning permission to the proposed development in Dublin's Sandyford suburb.

The company said in a statement that it will soon submit a revised planning application for a large-scale housing development, replacing its rejected development proposal for the 2.8-acre site.
