ONLY Corp. fiscal Q2 profit falls YOY

ONLY Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Feb. 29 was ¥8.94 per share, a decrease of 12.7% from ¥10.24 per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥43.1 million, a decline of 12.7% from ¥49.4 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin declined to 2.7% from 3.1% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue declined year over year to ¥1.59 billion from ¥1.61 billion, and total operating expenses totaled ¥1.56 billion, compared with ¥1.57 billion in the prior-year period.

Reported net income declined 18.4% year over year to ¥31.0 million, or ¥6.43 per share, from ¥38.0 million, or ¥7.88 per share.
