Citigroup adds to energy acquisitions and divestitures team

Former Raymond James & Associates Inc. Managing Director Carla Tharp has joined Citigroup Inc.'s energy acquisitions and divestitures group.

A Citigroup spokesperson confirmed that Tharp is now with the team. Tharp joined Raymond James in 2016 and was previously with Lantana Energy Advisors, a division of SunTrust Robinson Humphrey Inc.

A 2016 news release announcing Tharp's move to Raymond James noted that she was a petroleum engineer with more than 30 years in the energy industry.

In 2017, Citigroup appointed Matthew Brogdon and Bruce Cox co-heads of the energy acquisitions and divestitures group.
