GoGold Resources Inc. said Oct. 6 that it has secured a 150 tonne-per-day mill facility to continue toll milling of high-grade material at its Santa Gertrudis gold property in Mexico.
The company has mined in excess of 6,000 tonnes of material at an average grade of 13.5 g/t of gold, estimated at US$125 per tonne, with 3,700 tonnes processed at the mill and the remainder in a stockpile.
GoGold had poured 383 ounces of gold from Santa Gertrudis as of September-end. As of Oct. 5, an excess of 800 gold ounces was in process from the operation.
The company plans to continue to process high-grade material and generate cash flow at the mill facility for the next six months, while constructing the first phase of the Santa Gertrudis vat leach plant.
In addition, production at the company's Parral Tailings project will increase significantly for the quarter ending in December, with estimated production of 400,000 ounces to 500,000 ounces of silver equivalent, GoGold noted.
