Bank BGŻ BNP Paribas' management board member leaves post to head new Agro Hub

Bank BGZ BNP Paribas SA management board member Bartosz Urbaniak resigned from the post, effective March 31, to become the bank's executive director responsible for the management of its agri business line and the Agro Hub created by the lender's parent BNP Paribas SA.

Urbaniak will assume his new duties April 1, the Polish lender said in its Feb. 19 filing.

Headquartered in Warsaw, the Agro Hub is a new competence center through which the Polish lender will share its agricultural banking business know-how with other members of the parent group based in Africa and Central and Eastern Europe. The center will also offer help with defining relevant strategies, work on new comprehensive products and foster cooperation with entities operating in the agricultural business in Central and Eastern Europe and Africa.
