Umang Dairies fiscal Q3 profit climbs 10.7% YOY

4911863 said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2015, came to 1.21 Indian rupees per share, a gain of 10.9% from 1.09 rupees per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 26.5 million rupees, a gain of 10.7% from 24.0 million rupees in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin rose to 7.9% from 3.9% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue declined 46.3% year over year to 334.1 million rupees from 621.7 million rupees, and total operating expenses fell 50.0% from the prior-year period to 291.0 million rupees from 582.2 million rupees.
