India's Bajaj Finance raises fiscal 2017-2018 dividend

India-based Bajaj Finance Ltd. raised its final dividend for the fiscal year ended March 31.

The company said May 17 that its board recommended a final dividend of 4 rupees per share for fiscal 2017-2018, up from 3.60 rupees per share for the prior fiscal year.

Subject to shareholder approval, the dividend will be paid between July 24 and July 27.

As of May 16, US$1 was equivalent to 67.79 Indian rupees.
