Kirindo Holdings fiscal Q3 profit climbs 16.6% YOY

Kirindo Holdings Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Nov. 30, 2014, was ¥14.76 per share, an increase of 16.6% from ¥12.66 per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥167.3 million, a gain of 16.6% from ¥143.5 million in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin rose to 0.6% from 0.6% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed 5.4% year over year to ¥26.30 billion from ¥24.95 billion, and total operating expenses rose 5.0% year over year to ¥26.11 billion from ¥24.86 billion.

Reported net income rose from the prior-year period to ¥140.0 million, or ¥12.36 per share, from ¥69.0 million, or ¥6.09 per share.
