GAM Holding AG appointed Natalie Baylis to the newly created role of group head of compliance, effective in June and subject to regulatory approval.
Baylis, who has been the U.K. Financial Conduct Authority's chief counsel for markets, wholesale, funds and prudential regulation since 2013, will also join the Swiss asset manager's management board.
Meanwhile, Dirk Spiegel, GAM's general counsel, will leave the company to pursue other opportunities. Kenneth Dursht, the company's general counsel in the U.S., will serve as interim group general counsel.
