China InternationalCapital Corp. Ltd. established a US$2 billion medium-term note program.
Notes under the program will be issued in series and on differentdates to professional investors only, the company said May 6.
The company has already applied to the Stock Exchange of HongKong to list the program via debt issues to professional investors during the 12-monthperiod from the date of the offering circular. The listing of the program is expectedto come into effect May 6.
The net proceeds from the offering will be used for China InternationalCapital Corp. (Hong Kong) Ltd. and its subsidiaries' working capital and generalcorporate purposes.
China International Capital Corp. Hong Kong Securities, Citigroupand Standard Chartered Bank have been appointed as joint arrangers and dealers forthe program. ABC International, Bank of Communications Hong Kong branch, China ConstructionBank (Asia) Corp. Ltd., Goldman Sachs (Asia) LLC, HSBC, ICBC (Asia), OCBC Bank andWing Lung Bank Ltd. have been appointed as dealers.
