Sound Financial Bancorp ups dividend

Sound Financial Bancorp Inc.'s board declared a dividend of 10 cents per share, payable Feb. 27 to stockholders of record as of Feb. 13.

The Seattle-based company's previous dividend was 7.5 cents per share, per SNL data.

In the press release, the company said that its net income for the fourth quarter of 2016 was $1.6 million, or 60 cents per share, compared to $1.2 million, or 48 cents per share, for the year-ago period. Full-year net income was $5.4 million, or $2.08 per share, for 2016, compared to the previous year's $4.8 million, or $1.86 per share.
