Pylon Q3 profit climbs 97.2% YOY

Pylon SA said its normalized net income for the third quarter was 59,450 zlotys, a gain of 97.2% from 30,150 zlotys in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin fell to 10.3% from 10.8% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew on an annual basis to 575,130 zlotys from 278,140 zlotys, and total operating expenses grew year over year to 474,780 zlotys from 220,090 zlotys.

Reported net income grew 54.5% on an annual basis to 76,660 zlotys, or 1 groszy per share, from 49,630 zlotys, or 0 groszy per share.

As of Nov. 16, US$1 was equivalent to 3.96 zlotys.
