Auburn, Maine-based Maine Community Bancorp appointed Jeanne Hulit as single president and CEO.

Hulit will take the reins of Maine Community Bancorp in October.

Charles Petersen and Rick Vail are retiring as CEO of Maine Community Bancorp units Biddeford Savings Bank and Mechanics Savings Bank, respectively, in October.

Hulit's experience includes serving as president of Village Candle Inc.
