CBS shuffles ad sales force

CBS Corp. shuffled its advertising sales organization, promoting Jo Ann Ross to president and chief advertising revenue officer.

In addition to her new role, Ross, who served as the head of CBS Television Network sales since 2002, will continue running CBS Television Network's sales team in various operations.

Reporting to Ross will be David Lawenda, who was named executive vice president of digital sales and sales strategy, and Dave Morris, who was named executive vice president of advanced advertising and client partnerships.

Under the new structure, Lawenda will head CBS' digital advertising sales business and multiplatform sales strategy along with overseeing the existing sales and marketing of CBS Interactive.

Lawenda worked as Facebook Inc.'s head of U.S., global marketing solutions until March 2017, while Morris has served as the chief revenue officer of CBS Interactive since 2008.
