CDPQ Investments increases stake in Invenergy Renewables

CDPQ Investments Inc. has completed the acquisition of an additional 3.07% membership stake in Invenergy Renewables LLC from Invenergy Wind Holdings, according to a July 31 filing to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

With the completion of the deal, the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec subsidiary's stake in Invenergy Renewables increased to 30.16%, while Invenergy Wind Holdings' ownership decreased to 50.7%.

Invenergy Renewables wholly or partially owns: the 100.5-MW Beech Ridge Wind Farm, the planned 52.5-MW Beech Ridge II Wind Project, the planned 136-MW Bishop Hill III Wind Farm, the 32-MW Beech Ridge Energy Storage Project, the 28-mile Bishop Hill Interconnection, the 200.48-MW Buckeye Wind Energy Project, the 129.35-MW Forward Energy Center, the 210-MW Grand Ridge Wind Energy Center, the 32.4-MW Grand Ridge Battery Projects, the 110.4-MW Gratiot County Wind Project, the Gratiot County Wind II, the 27-MW Invenergy TN, 135-MW Judith Gap Wind project, the 73.39-MW Prairie Breeze II Wind Project, the 35.8-MW Prairie Breeze III Wind Energy Center, the 112.5-MW High Sheldon Wind, the 60-MW Spring Canyon I Energy Center, the 93.96-MW Stony Creek, the 90-MW Vantage Wind Power Project, the 72-MW Willow Creek Wind Project, the 64.5-MW Wolverine Creek Wind, and the Wolverine Creek Goshen Interconnection.

The parties consummated the transaction on July 28. (FERC docket EC17-128)
