Bank of Maharashtra warns industrial action could hurt operations

Bank of Maharashtra warned that its operations will likely be affected by an employee strike planned for Dec. 27.

The All India Bank Employees' Association and All India Bank Officers' Association have called for a one-day strike in support of demands and concerns, the bank said in a Dec. 20 release.

An industrial action is likely to affect the "normal functioning of the Bank's branches/offices," it added.
