Vodafone India introduces OTT app

VodafoneIndia launched its over-the-top app Vodafone Play, which drawscontent from OTT services including Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd.'s dittoTV, Hooq and HungamaMovies, Television Post reported Oct. 4.

Offering access to more than 14,000 filmtitles, 180 live TV channels, and an extensive music catalog, Vodafone Playalso includes features such as pausing live TV, DVR capability, show startreminders and responsive streaming of live TV channels.

The app provides content in English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil,Malayalam, Punjabi, Marathi, Gujarati, Assamese and Bengali. The unit isoffering it for free to its customers until the end of the year.
