Thunder Tiger Q3 loss narrows YOY

Thunder Tiger Corp. said its third-quarter normalized net income was a loss of 20 Taiwan cents per share, compared with a loss of 36 cents per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of NT$21.9 million, compared with a loss of NT$30.3 million in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin declined to negative 10.9% from negative 10.4% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue decreased 30.8% year over year to NT$200.9 million from NT$290.3 million, and total operating expenses declined 29.3% on an annual basis to NT$245.9 million from NT$347.9 million.

Reported net income totaled a loss of NT$35.1 million, or a loss of 32 cents per share, compared to a loss of NT$49.9 million, or a loss of 59 cents per share, in the prior-year period.
