BlackFin Capital Partners to acquire claims management firm CED Group

Private equity fund BlackFin Capital Partners will become the new owner of CED Group after reaching an agreement in principle with the Dutch claims management company's six largest shareholders Dec. 22.

CED Group will seek advice from the works council in the coming weeks, while its other shareholders will be invited to sell their holdings to BlackFin Capital Partners. The change of ownership has no direct consequences for operational management and employees, the company said Dec. 27.

CED is owned by a large number of Dutch insurers and brokers.
