U.K.-based insurance broker Stackhouse Poland Ltd. is discussing a sale with several potential buyers including Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., Aon PLC, Acrisure LLC and PIB, The Insurance Insider reported, citing unnamed sources.
PIB already dropped out of deal talks, according to the report. The Insider also named several potential private equity buyers that it said are interested, including Warburg Pincus, KKR and GTCR. Stackhouse could undergo a full sales process or reach a bilateral deal with one of the suitors, according to the publication's sources.
The report pegged Arthur J. Gallagher as the most likely buyer, and also noted that Warburg Pincus previously neared a bilateral deal with Stackhouse before the broker decided not to sell.
Evercore is reportedly acting as sell-side adviser.
