Azizi Developments will break ground at its proposed 25 billion-United-Arab-Emirates-dirham mega community project in central Dubai in November, Arabian Business reported.
The UAE-based developer will transform 33 million square feet of construction space into 105 mid-rise and high-rise residential towers housing 30,000 apartments. The project will also feature education facilities, retail space, hospitality and outdoor recreation spaces.
Azizi Chairman Mirwais Azizi told the publication they aim to inculcate elements inspired by contemporary British living standards into the development.
The project, whose name is yet to be made public, will be completed before Dubai hosts the Expo 2020 event, according to the Oct. 17 report.
As of Oct. 17, US$1 was equivalent to 3.67 UAE dirhams.
