Report: Former SoFi employee files wrongful termination suit

A former Social Finance Inc. employee has accused the company of wrongfully terminating him when he reported a manager who had concealed errors in processing loan applications and another who harassed female employees with sexual or inappropriate comments, The Wall Street Journal reported.

The report cited filings dated Aug. 11 in California state court in San Francisco, which said the former employee, Brandon Charles, is seeking damages and compensation for losses of past and future income.

Charles worked as a senior operations manager in SoFi's Healdsburg, Calif., office between March and June 2017, according to the report.
