Weds Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, amounted to ¥44.47 per share, a decline of 6.3% from ¥47.45 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥736.3 million, a decline of 6.3% from ¥785.6 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin dropped to 6.6% from 7.4% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue grew year over year to ¥11.20 billion from ¥10.68 billion, and total operating expenses climbed 6.9% on an annual basis to ¥10.10 billion from ¥9.45 billion.
Reported net income decreased year over year to ¥778.0 million, or ¥46.99 per share, from ¥791.0 million, or ¥47.77 per share.
As of Feb. 13, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.68.
