StrikePoint to acquire another silver property in British Columbia

StrikePoint Gold Inc. agreed to acquire the Handsome Jack silver property near Stewart, British Columbia, from Trifecta Gold Ltd.

The company said Aug. 14 that it will pay C$25,000 cash and issue 250,000 common shares to Trifecta. In addition, Trifecta will get a 1% net smelter royalty with the right to buy back half for C$500,000.

The Handsome Jack property lies adjacent to the eastern border of StrikePoint's recently acquired Porter Idaho property, which will allow for expansive exploration, prospective parallel systems and supposed connections, the company said.

StrikePoint's exploration plan for Handsome Jack represents the first comprehensive exploration campaign in the area for over 30 years.

The company added that it expects to complete the Porter Idaho acquisition by Aug. 15.
