The Finnish real estate sector saw its first-ever inflow of capital from Korea with GLL Real Estate Partners GmbH's acquisition of a logistics portfolio and 135,000 square meters of commercial space on behalf of Korean investors for an investment volume in the "hundreds of millions."
The logistics portfolio comprising five properties, managed by Wilfast Föryaltning AB, was acquired from Norwegian investment manager Ness, Risan & Partners. The properties are in cities such as Helsinki and Tampere, and they are leased to Posti on a long-term basis.
Helaba will fund the acquisition, according to a release.
Castrén & Snellmann, KPMG and JLL advised GLL on the deal.
